I look out the back window and here is what I saw. My kids and their dad shootin' it up in the yard. Seriously, all we need is a confederate flag and the stereotype will be complete.
At least they weren't shooting beer cans. People please, I do have my standards.

Just to be clear..... these are BB guns.

LOVE this post! LOVE the photo of both of them aiming their guns at the same time! And ... I learned something new about you tonight ... you DO have standards :)

TOTALLY KIDDING!!

I made the mistake of showing Carlos the photos and he was in awe. He kept asking when he would get to do it (but I can't really see my husband doing it with him). And he didn't figure out that Sarah is almost his exact age, lol!

How many hours of shooting do they have to have before they become card carrying members of the NRA?? :-)

What in 'tar nation r ya'll doing? Is there any Hatfields or McCoys in the bloodline? Just kidding!

I think it's great what you're doing!
We shouldn't be deathly AFRAID of guns, just learn to be responsible and what they are meant for. My older guys grew up where if they even picked up a stick and pretended it was a gun, they were incorrigible and I was an uncaring, horrible parent!

How fun! They are too cute in their safety goggles. Have you shown them "A Christmas Story" yet?(yes I know it should be underlined)

Hey Lori: I forgot about that movie. Guess I better put that in my queue for Blockbuster. And about the underlining.....BLOGGER won't let ya do it. Blogger is a booger.

I like how Sarah cocks her head to the side when she's aiming :)
