Just got the first of many insurance claims for my hospital visit.
From the hospital, NOT THE DOCTORS, just for staying at the hospital for 5 days....
$31,165.25
I can not wait to see the bill from the surgeon, the radiologist, the pathologist, the anesthesiologist, the cardiologist, the doctor from our medical group who checked on me everyday, and the myriad of other specialists who attended to my gizzard removal.

I know what you mean! We got the bill for Dan's little out-patient surgery...$11,000. We were only at the hospital a total of four hours! Wouldn't you love to make that much per hour!
I have thought that may times, even just taking the kids to the doctor. There were a couple of brief periods after I had Ashley that we didn't have insurance and the constant worry hanging over my head was overwhelming.
We truly are so blessed.
whew! Thank you God for overtime is right girlfriend!! Overtime has nothing on that!! ;)
